School Uniform Regulations/Burns

We would ask you to adhere to the uniform regulations if purchasing a new uniform over the summer months, in particular, please be reminded of the following:

Girls skirts – a kick pleat skirt is now compulsory and all suppliers have been instructed to sell only this skirt.
Shoes – all pupils are required to wear proper school shoes (plain black shoes). Converse, Vans or similar black canvas style footwear are not permitted.  Leather options are acceptable.
Socks – Boys MUST wear navy or black socks. White socks are not permitted. Girls may wear socks for specific periods. These must be navy and worn to the knee.
The full PE uniform MUST be worn to all PE classes/Sporting events. Pupils will not be permitted to wear non-uniform items.
There is now a more cost effective PE uniform option available, consisting of PE shorts and a school branded top. Pupils can choose from either of the two available options.
Boys must wear NAVY regulation trousers (fashion trousers are not permitted).

 

Burns of Draperstown will be in the Assembly Hall on the following dates if you still need to buy uniforms etc:

Thursday 17th August - 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.

Tuesday 22nd August - 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. (and)
Thursday 24th August - 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.
