Working in partnership

As a college, we value our close working relationship with you our parents and guardians.

Your role as the primary educators is extremely important to our ethos of ‘Believe’, ‘Achieve’, ‘Lead’. Our strong partnership working can help our students achieve their God-given potential.

Parents/guardians and the college working collaboratively not only contributes to your child’s academic achievement but helps to develop positive attitudes about self and school.

We believe that working with families in our close-knit school community is an effective way of making the most of a valuable resource which is integral to student success.

Working in partnership with the college requires a commitment from parents and guardians. This commitment entails:

-          Providing support at home (with reading, goal setting and setting good habits regarding homework)

-          Knowing our expectations around conduct and supporting these through the use of rewards and sanctions at home

-          Sharing concerns with your child’s Form Tutor

-          Remaining connected with what is taking place by reading the weekly newsletter from the Principal, regularly checking the App and following the college on its social media platforms.

Together, we can all achieve great things as members of the St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s family.
